Following a very close encounter in last Thursday evening’s Shiels Cup semi-final with CuChulainns, another titanic battle was on the cards to secure a place in the 2025 St Vincent’s Nursing Home Murphy Cup final.
Our St Clarets lads had different ideas and made a very swift start by racing out to a 3-11 to 0-06 interval lead over our opponents.
With the hard work done before the short whistle our lads controlled the game well in the second half to secure a 4-16 to 0-10 semi-final win.
We now progress to a Murphy Cup final date with Tara GFC.
Congratulations to our senior squad and management for progressing to their second cup final of 2025.
